Resolution A182 of the 2015 General Convention calls the wider church to be in conversation and to take action on racial reconciliation and justice. Specifically, the resolution calls on the Standing Commission on Liturgy and Music to produce and post applicable prayers:
“Resolved, That the Standing Commission on Liturgy and Music produce and post online a set of prayers for racial reconciliation and justice, suitable for inclusion in the Prayers of the People…”
In response, members of the Standing Commission on Liturgy and Music formed a subcommittee on Racial Reconciliation led by SCLM member Christopher Decatur. The subcommittee created four sets of Prayers of the People and a Litany of Repentance and Commissioning for the Ministry of Justice and Reconciliation.
The subcommittee would like to thank our writers, Deon Johnson, Ann Phelps and Lowell Grisham as well as our editors, Lydia Huttar Brown and Ernesto Medina.
The following SCLM members served on the subcommittee: Christopher Decatur, Becky Morrill, Drew Keane, Ana Hernandez, Paul Fromebrg, Jay Fluellen, Sandye Wilson, Nancy Bryan, Athena Hahn, and Dorsey McConnell.
Eager to download the prayers, but the embedded link is not functional.
Peace,
Carolyn Sharp

Apologies, this has now been fixed!
It still doesn’t work; the link in your response to Sophia does work.
Sending you both an email.
The links don’t work.
Hi Sophia, the link to the prayers is working from here, but I’m sorry you’re having trouble. Here it is, in case it works this way for you: https://liturgyandmusic.files.wordpress.com/2018/01/prayers-sclm-racial-reconciliation-and-justice-final1-3.pdf
I’m getting a message that the file is not found on Word Press. Am I doing something wrong? I clicked on the link in the post.
